The big issue in the recent weeks has be the decision not to indict (definition: formally accuse or charge with a serious crime) Officer Darren Wilson for the death of Michael Brown. Although the events leading up to this decision took place in Ferguson, protests against the outcome has spread to all the states. An article in the Burnt Orange Report briefly goes over the different rallies that have taken place in Texas. Personally, I don't believe the killing was an issue of racism. From what I understand, Officer Wilson was defending himself and race was no where in the equation. It's always unfortunate when a life is lost, but I think there are better ways to handle this situation. Prayers go out to the Brown family and the Wilson family alike.
